New Delhi: Max Healthcare announced a collaboration with Google to allow patients to book hospital appointments directly through Google Search and Google Maps.
The initiative aims to simplify access to healthcare services by reducing the time and steps required to schedule appointments.
How the Integration Works
Under the collaboration, users searching for Max Hospitals, doctors, or medical specialties on Google will see a ‘Book Online’ option. Clicking this option redirects users to Max Healthcare’s official appointment booking platform. The feature is enabled through Google’s Appointments Redirect capability, which ensures patients receive accurate and up-to-date information.
The authenticated redirection is designed to improve patient trust by guiding users to verified Max Healthcare platforms instead of unverified third-party websites. This helps reduce confusion and enhances reliability in the appointment booking process.
Pan-India Availability
The integration will be available across all Max Healthcare facilities, ensuring consistent access for patients across regions. According to the company, the partnership is part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen India’s digital healthcare ecosystem by making trusted healthcare services easier to discover and access, while improving overall patient experience through technology-led solutions.
