Kolkata: Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels and Luxmi Tea will ink an MoU for a new hospitality property under The Park brand in Siliguri.
This will mark the Park’s expansion in North Bengal after Oberoi and Taj group.
The Siliguri property will have 100 rooms and leverage North Bengal as a growing tourism and business destination.
Apeejay Surrendra has also announced a JV with Ambuja Neotia to develop a hospitality-integrated development of serviced residences on EM Bypass called The Park Unizen.
The total investment involves Rs 700 crore with Ambuja Neotia pumping in Rs 260 crore to develop The Park Unizen.
The project will come up on.a 3.4-acre leasehold land parcel. The services residences will be spread over 1.7 acres.
The hotel will take up 3.8 lakh sq ft and the residences 3.7 lakh sq ft out of the 7.5 lakh sq ft construction area.
