Chennai: embedUR systems has established a dedicated Edge Intelligence Center in Chennai with a 100-engineer capacity. The new center will power the development and deployment of on-device intelligence across telecom, industrial, and semiconductor industries.
The launch marks a key milestone in the company’s ₹500 crore investment commitment in Tamil Nadu over five years, with 2026 representing the third phase of this strategic expansion.
The Company also launched ModelNova, a next-generation Edge AI platform ecosystem and Fusion Studio Software alongside the establishment of
ModelNova is a library of ready-to-use Edge AI models and datasets, and Fusion Studio is a desktop environment for training, labeling, and customizing those models.
Together, they form a workflow that removes friction from developing embedded AI systems and move AI from experimentation to productization, potentially reducing edge AI developmental time by 75%.
The Chennai expansion strengthens embedUR’s core focus on platform IP development, on-device AI systems engineering, and ecosystem enablement with global technology partners such as STMicroelectronics, Infineon, NXP, Synaptics, Ceva and many more silicon players.
The facility is designed to support high-value R&D, hardware-aware AI optimization, and collaborative innovation across diverse silicon platforms.
