Mumbai: In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Maharashtra government has transferred four IAS officers. Accordingly, senior IAS Manisha Patankar Mhaiskar (1992 batch) has been appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Home Department.
Mhaiskar has more than three decades of administrative experience. In her new role, she succeeds IAS Iqbal Singh Chahal (1989 batch), who is set to retire from service on January 31, 2026. Before this appointment, Mhaiskar served as the ACS, Public Works Department (PWD).
The list of other transfers includes
- IAS Milind Mhaiskar (1992 batch) has been appointed ACS, Public Works Department. He was earlier serving as ACS (Forests), Revenue, and Forest Department.
- IAS Uveneswari S. (2015 batch), currently Managing Director, Maharashtra State Seeds Corporation, Akola, has now been appointed Director, Information Technology, Mumbai.
- IAS Dr. H.S. Vasekar (2015 batch) has been posted as Director, Maharashtra State Council of Educational Research and Training (MSCERT), Pune.
