SolarWinds has significantly bolstered its long-term commitment to India by expanding its regional footprint and deepening local collaborations. Rohit Shukla, Senior Sales Director, India and SAARC, SolarWinds, exclusively informs Rajneesh De, Group Editor, CXO Media & APAC Media, that SolarWinds is strengthening India’s partner ecosystem and tailoring execution regionally through local engagement, partner events, and recognition.

How are Agentic AI and automation transforming observability and IT operations?

Agentic AI offers immense opportunities to move beyond reactive alert fatigue and toward proactive IT operations. Adoption momentum in India is accelerating, with over 80% of Indian firms having deployed or actively exploring Agentic AI, reflecting strong confidence in its operational value. Advanced AI systems can flag anomalies, predict issues before they occur, trigger remediation protocols autonomously, and optimize system performance in real time.

This evolution helps organizations ensure service reliability, reduce operational risk, and align IT efforts with business outcomes by enabling Indian enterprises to transition from rigid threshold-based monitoring to fully autonomous incident response.

AI agents continuously ingest live telemetry from networks, applications, and security controls, correlating anomalies in real time to detect outages, performance degradation, or security threats that humans might otherwise overlook. By learning from each event, these systems refine their responses and adapt to emerging patterns, improving resilience over time.

SolarWinds AIOps applies this intelligence to infrastructure operations, helping predict capacity constraints, identify misconfigurations, and optimize performance, ensuring critical services remain stable, secure, and business-ready.

How do SolarWinds new AI-powered innovations, including the SolarWinds AI Agent, enhance IT operations and observability?

SolarWinds embeds AI directly into its observability and service management platform through capabilities such as Root Cause Assist, AI-powered Log Insights, and SolarWinds AI Agent. Root Cause Assist accelerates incident investigation by surfacing correlated events, recent configuration changes, and contextual signals that explain why an issue occurred. AI-driven alert correlation reduces noise without hiding raw data, allowing teams to validate AI insights at any time.

The SolarWinds AI Agent is built on the same Secure by Design and AI by Design principles that govern all of our product development here at SolarWinds. The SolarWinds AI Agent analyzes trusted telemetry like metrics, logs, events, and traces within the customer’s environment and automates diagnostics, recommends remediation steps, and can execute pre-approved runbooks under strict role-based access controls and policy boundaries. All actions are logged and auditable, ensuring visibility and trust.

Together, these capabilities unify observability and ITSM, enabling faster detection, contextual analysis, and guided remediation, reducing MTTR while enhancing operational resilience across hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructures.

What are the key insights from the SolarWinds State of ITSM Report 2025, particularly regarding the measurable business impact of AI enablement?

The SolarWinds State of ITSM 2025 Report underscores a shift from AI experimentation to tangible operational gains. IT teams are now integrating GenAI and AI-powered automation into routine processes, especially for incident handling and service delivery.

Drawing from an analysis of over 2,000 ITSM systems, the report shows that organizations using GenAI achieved substantial annual time savings. Collectively, these firms saved 323,343 hours following GenAI adoption, yielding reduced expenses and boosting efficiency. Features like AI-based alert filtering, automated root cause detection, and smart ticket handling have driven clear reductions in mean time to resolution (MTTR) and enhanced service performance.

Within the Indian IT ecosystem, momentum is equally strong. Industry reports show that nearly 94% of Indian organizations are using AI to detect, respond to, or predict cyber threats, and a growing majority are embedding AI into service and operations workflows

Ultimately, the report demonstrates that AI integration, backed by robust governance, delivers concrete efficiency, resilience, and business value beyond mere concepts.

How is SolarWinds demonstrating its long-term commitment to India as both a strategic market and an innovation hub?

SolarWinds has significantly bolstered its long-term commitment to India by expanding its regional footprint and deepening local collaborations. We have recently opened a new office in Bengaluru, aimed at expanding research, development, and engineering capacity focused on next-generation observability, hybrid IT, and AI-powered solutions, signalling India’s importance not just as a sales market but as a global innovation center contributing to core product development.

In India’s enterprise ecosystem, the SolarWinds technology is also gaining traction. For instance, Pine Labs adopted SolarWinds Observability platform to eliminate tool sprawl, improve visibility, reduce operational costs, and accelerate issue resolution across its hybrid infrastructure. At the same time, SolarWinds is strengthening its partner ecosystem through its enhanced Partner Program and regional engagement initiatives.

Together, these investments and collaborations demonstrate SolarWinds multi-dimensional commitment to India, supporting innovation, talent growth, customer value, and an ecosystem approach in a strategic global market. This expansion supports India’s growing role as a global tech powerhouse and is designed to create high-value jobs in the region.

What are the key pillars of SolarWinds GTM strategy?

SolarWinds is dedicated to collaborating closely with its partners to provide streamlined, robust, and secure solutions for customers. Our partners play a critical role in our ecosystem, acting as true extensions of our team. Together, we expand our products, solutions, and services to drive customer success and strengthen operational resilience.

The SolarWinds GTM strategy is built on transparency, growth, and partner enablement. The SolarWinds Partner Program empowers partners with a consistent and predictable structure, offering expansive field coverage, expert product training, sales and technical support, and performance-driven rewards. These elements are designed to help partners grow by selling across the full SolarWinds portfolio, capturing new market opportunities, and maximizing profitability through an annuity-style subscription model and robust renewal streams. At SolarWinds, we are dedicated to creating lasting value for partners through collaboration, shared growth and a unified vision.

SolarWinds is also strengthening India’s partner ecosystem and tailoring execution regionally through local engagement, partner events, and recognition. For example, in the SolarWinds 2025 Global Partner Awards announcement, India-based Magnamious Systems was recognized for Excellence in Marketing.

These elements ensure the SolarWinds value proposition is not just product-centric but ecosystem-oriented, enabling scalable adoption and measurable customer outcomes.

How does the new 2026 SolarWinds Partner Program strengthen partner-led growth and accelerate value delivery for customers?

The rejuvenated 2026 SolarWinds Partner Program, announced at the SolarWinds 2026 Partner Summit, has been purpose-built to fortify partner-led growth while accelerating customer value delivery. A key development is the introduction of new tiered benefits, where partners unlocking higher status gain access to increased incentives and performance-based rewards tied to channel-initiated growth. By working closely with distributors to cascade benefits to resellers and piloting initiatives such as a rewards center, SolarWinds ensures scalable, ecosystem-wide growth.

The program significantly expands partner-led marketing investments, offering proposal-based marketing funds, co-brandable assets, and ready-to-execute “campaigns in a box” to help partners build a qualified pipeline and accelerate revenue.

Enablement is also elevated, with advanced certifications and new specialization tracks across services and verticals, including the public sector. Combined with a streamlined partner portal and improved deal registration processes, these enhancements reduce friction, accelerate time-to-value, and empower partners to deliver simple, secure, and powerful solutions that drive operational resilience for customers.

What are SolarWinds unique differentiators over other competitors amongst IT management solution providers?

SolarWinds differentiates itself through its unified, AI-driven observability platform, commitment to security-first design, and flexible deployment model.  Unlike solutions that focus exclusively on cloud-native environments, SolarWinds products help deliver integrated visibility across on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud infrastructures, including AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and legacy systems. Its modular architecture allows customers to deploy only what they need, reducing complexity.

Our “Secure by Design” and “AI by Design” principles ensure transparency, explainability, and governance in AI-driven automation. Features such as Root Cause Assist and the AI Agent provide contextual recommendations backed by audit trails and policy-based execution, maintaining trust and control. Additionally, SolarWinds emphasizes usability and operational simplicity. AI tools are embedded within familiar workflows, minimizing disruption while enhancing productivity.

Additional differentiators include flexibility in deployment (SaaS and self-hosted options) and modular adoption—so customers can start with the domains they need (network, infrastructure, apps, database, logs) and expand over time without forcing a one-size-fits-all architecture. SolarWinds also continues to invest in AI capabilities such as Root Cause Assist and the SolarWinds AI Agent to improve investigation speed and guided remediation while maintaining governance and auditability.

What are the solutions and services available in the SolarWinds portfolio?

The SolarWinds portfolio spans observability (SaaS and self-hosted), network and infrastructure monitoring, database observability, and IT service management—helping teams unify visibility across hybrid environments and accelerate detection, investigation, and remediation with automation and AI assistance.
