Shimla: In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Himachal Pradesh government has transferred eight IAS officers. As per the official notification, IAS Sandeep Kumar has been made the Divisional Commissioner of Kangra Division.
Kumar previously served as the Settlement Officer.
Other key transfers include
IAS Duni Chand Rana (2014 batch), presently the Director-cum-Ex-Officio Special Secretary (Revenue-Disaster Management), will continue to hold multiple additional responsibilities, including Director, Environment, Science & Technology, and Managing Director of HPMC, along with charge of state agro corporations.
IAS Ram Kumar Gautam (2014 batch) has been appointed as the Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Shimla. He will also serve as Managing Director of the State Agriculture Marketing Board, relieving IAS Hemis Negi (2019 batch).
IAS Kumud Singh (2015 batch) has been made Director, Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs.
IAS Vinay Singh (2015 batch) takes over as Managing Director, State Cooperative Bank, Shimla, along with additional responsibilities in agro-related corporations.
IAS Manesh Kumar (2018 batch) has been transferred as Settlement Officer, Shimla Division.
IAS Akshey Sood (2020 batch) is posted as Settlement Officer, Kangra Division at Dharamshala.
IAS Dwij Goel (2023 batch) has taken charge as Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Paonta Sahib, Sirmaur District.
