Lucknow: The government of Uttar Pradesh on Friday carried out a late-night administrative reshuffle, transferring seven IAS officers and four PCS officers.
The latest administrative reshuffle is aimed at enhancing efficiency in governance and strengthening departmental coordination across the state administration.
Among the key postings, IAS officer Lokesh M, who had been awaiting assignment after being removed following the death of a Noida engineer, has been appointed Secretary in the Public Works Department (PWD).
Prakash Bindu, who was serving as Secretary in the PWD, has been transferred to the Home Department.
According to the official order, Mahendra Prasad, who was also awaiting posting, has been appointed Special Secretary in the Uttar Pradesh Reorganisation Coordination Department.
In another change, Neena Sharma, Director of the Uttar Pradesh Academy of Administration and Management, has been posted as Principal Secretary and Director General of the Public Enterprises Department. Meanwhile, Sanjay Kumar has been appointed Director of the state administrative academy.
Additionally, Raghubeer has been transferred as Special Secretary to the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, while Ashish Kumar has been given additional charge as Special Secretary in the Department of Religious Affairs.
