Bihar, Apr 27, (APAC Media): As part of a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Bihar government has transferred four IAS officers. IAS Gopal Meena has been appointed as the new secretary to the governor.
He will also hold the additional charge of Vigilance Commissioner in the General Administration Department.
Meena currently serves as the Secretary in the Revenue and Land Reforms Department.
Other IAS transfers include
IAS Robert L. Chongthu (1997 batch), who was serving as Principal Secretary to the Governor, has been appointed as Principal Secretary of the Minority Welfare Department. He will continue in this role until further orders.
IAS Mohammad Sohail (2007 batch) has been assigned the role of Secretary in the General Administration Department. He will continue to hold his additional charge as Inquiry Commissioner in the same department.
IAS Shailendra Kumar, Special Secretary in the Agriculture Department, has been appointed as the new District Magistrate of Lakhisarai district.
