Bihar Govt Transfers 11 IAS Officers; IAS Santosh Kumar Mall Made Principal Secretary, Disaster Management Dept

Patna, May 11 (APAC Media): In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Bihar government has transferred 11 IAS officers across key departments. Accordingly, IAS Santosh Kumar Mall has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Disaster Management Department. 

He is a 1997 batch IAS officer. Before this appointment, he was serving as the Principal Secretary of the Water Resources Department.

List of other transfers is as follows

• IAS HR Sriniwas (1996 batch) has been appointed as the additional chief secretary of the social welfare department.
• IAS Kumar Ravi (2005 batch) has been appointed secretary of the health department.
• IAS Ajay Yadav (2005 batch) has been appointed as the secretary of the energy department.
• IAS Sanjay Kumar Singh (2007 batch) has been made the secretary of the finance department.
• IAS Pranav Kumar (2008 batch) has been appointed secretary of the building construction department.
• IAS Manoj Kumar Singh (2009 batch) has become the resident commissioner of Bihar Bhawan in New Delhi. 
• IAS Chandrashekhar Singh (2010 batch) has been made the secretary of the Water Resources Department. 
• IAS Lokesh Kumar Singh (2003 batch) has been appointed secretary, Tourism Department. He has also been given additional charge of the Chief Minister’s Secretariat and the Department of Science, Technology, and Technical Education.
• IAS Anand Kishor has been relieved of the additional charge of the additional chief secretary of the Finance Department.
