Bhopla, May 11 (APAC Media): The Madhya Pradesh government has appointed IAS Arvind Kumar Dubey as the Director of Public Relations (DPR), Bhopal, by assigning him the additional charge of the key post.Â
The decision was taken as part of the state government’s efforts to strengthen coordination between governance and public communication.
A 2012-batch officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, Dubey is currently serving as Additional Secretary to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh State Agro Industries Development Corporation. With the latest appointment, he will now also oversee the Public Relations Department from Bhopal, the administrative capital of the state.
The Public Relations Department plays a vital role in disseminating government policies, welfare schemes, official announcements, and media communication across Madhya Pradesh. Officials believe Dubey’s administrative experience and close association with the Chief Minister’s Office will help improve communication strategies and coordination between departments.
Over the years, Dubey has held several important administrative positions in the state government. He previously served as District Collector of Raisen, where he was recognised for effective district administration and implementation of development initiatives. He also worked as Deputy Secretary in the Chief Secretary’s Office in Bhopal before taking charge as Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister.
With more than a decade of experience in district administration and the state secretariat, Dubey is regarded as a seasoned administrator with expertise in governance, policy execution, and public outreach.
