Patna, June 5 (APAC Media): Senior IAS officer Sanjay Kumar has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Governor’s Secretariat, Bihar Lok Bhavan, Patna.
Before taking up his new assignment, Kumar was serving as Additional Secretary in the Rural Works Department, Government of Bihar, where he played a key role in overseeing rural infrastructure projects and developmental programmes across the state.
In his new position, Sanjay Kumar will assist in the administration of the Governor’s Secretariat and handle matters related to governance, policy coordination, and institutional functioning at the Raj Bhavan.
Officials noted that his extensive administrative experience is expected to contribute to the smooth and effective functioning of the Secretariat.
