Chandigarh, July 4 (APAC Media): The Haryana Government on Friday transferred 13 IAS officers in a major administrative reshuffle. The transfers have come into effect immediately.
The orders were issued by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi.
The reshuffle includes new postings, additional responsibilities, and the withdrawal of several extra charges to improve administrative efficiency.
Apoorv Kumar Singh Gets Additional Charge
Among the key changes, 1991-batch officer, IAS Apoorv Singh has been given the additional charge of the Architecture Department.
He currently serves as Additional Chief Secretary of the Higher Education Department and the Public Works (Buildings & Roads) Department.
Pankaj Yadav Gets Water Resources Authority Charge
Senior officer, IAS Pankaj Yadav has been assigned the additional charge of Chairperson, Haryana Water Resources Authority.
He will continue as Principal Secretary of the Cooperation Department and the Public Health Engineering Department.
He also serves as Principal Resident Commissioner at Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi.
Several Officers Relieved of Extra Responsibilities
The government has also withdrawn additional responsibilities from several officers so they can focus on their primary assignments.
- IAS Sanjay Joon has been relieved of the additional charge of Director General and Secretary, Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Department.
- IAS Ravi Prakash Gupta has been relieved of the charge of Secretary, Urban Estate Department.
- IAS Rajiv Rattan no longer holds the additional charge of Director General, Science and Technology Department.
- IAS Dhirendra Khadgata has been relieved of his additional responsibility as Special Secretary, Environment, Forests and Wildlife Department.
Other Key Transfers and Postings in Haryana
- IAS Shakti Singh has been given the additional charge of Director, State Audit Department. He will continue as Managing Director, Haryana State Federation of Cooperative Sugar Mills.
- IAS Sachin Gupta has been relieved of his additional charges as Additional Secretary, Irrigation and Water Resources Department and Managing Director, Haryana State Minor Irrigation and Tubewells Corporation (HSMITC). He will continue as Deputy Commissioner, Rohtak.
- IAS Aparajita has been relieved of her additional charge as Additional Secretary, Fisheries Department. She will continue as Deputy Commissioner, Kaithal.
- IAS Satyender Duhan has been appointed Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Rohtak, and District Municipal Commissioner, Rohtak. He will continue to hold his existing responsibilities in the Skill Development and Industrial Training Department.
- IAS Saloni Sharma has been given the additional charge of District Municipal Commissioner, Karnal. She will continue as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Karnal.
- IAS Samwartak Singh Khangwal has been relieved of his additional charge as Director, SCERT, Gurugram. He will continue as Additional Secretary and Director in the Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Department.
- IAS Abhinav Siwach has been relieved of his additional responsibility as District Municipal Commissioner, Jhajjar. He will continue as Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Bahadurgarh.Also Read:
