New Delhi, July 9 (APAC Media): The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has ordered the transfer and posting of 21 IAS officers of the AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory) cadre with immediate effect.Â
The order, issued on July 9, 2026, states that the transfers have been approved by the competent authority and will remain in force until further orders.
The reshuffle covers postings across Delhi, Arunachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Puducherry, Lakshadweep, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, DNH & DD, Goa, and Mizoram.
The transfers are as follows:
- IAS Vivek Pandey (2003) has been transferred from Arunachal Pradesh to Delhi.
- IAS Garima Gupta (2004) has been transferred from Mizoram to Delhi.
- IAS Sanjay Goel (2004) has been transferred from Goa to Arunachal Pradesh.
- IAS Pawan Kumar Sain (2005) has been transferred from Arunachal Pradesh to Delhi.
- IAS Amjad Tak (2005) has been transferred from Arunachal Pradesh to Delhi.
- IAS Saugat Biswas (2006) has been transferred from Arunachal Pradesh to Jammu & Kashmir.
- IAS Shahid Iqbal Choudhary (2009) has been transferred from Jammu & Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh.
- IAS Ajay Kumar Gupta (2010) has been transferred from DNH & DD to Delhi.
- IAS Arava Gopi Krishna (2012) has been transferred from DNH & DD to Ladakh.
- IAS L. Kumar (2012) has been transferred from Andaman & Nicobar Islands to Puducherry.
- IAS Kesavan R (2013) has been transferred from Puducherry to Lakshadweep.
- IAS Awanish Kumar (2014) has been transferred from Lakshadweep to Delhi.
- IAS Bhupesh Chaudhary (2014) has been transferred from Ladakh to DNH & DD.
- IAS Shashanka Ala (2014) has been transferred from Ladakh to DNH & DD.
- IAS Rishita Gupta (2019) has been transferred from Delhi to Arunachal Pradesh.
- IAS Shweta Nagarkoti (2020) has been transferred from Arunachal Pradesh to Delhi.
- IAS R Giri Sankar (2020) has been transferred from Lakshadweep to Puducherry.
- IAS Mamta Yadav (2021) has been transferred from Delhi to Jammu & Kashmir.
- IAS W. Punshiba Singh (2022) has been transferred from Delhi to Lakshadweep.
- IAS Ishita Rathi (2022) has been transferred from Puducherry to Jammu & Kashmir.
- IAS Swati Sheemar (2023) has been transferred from Jammu & Kashmir to Delhi.
The latest transfer order is part of the routine administrative reshuffle within the AGMUT cadre aimed at strengthening governance and administrative functioning across the states and Union Territories under the cadre.
