New Delhi, July 16(APAC Media): Zoho has launched an AI-powered version of its learning management platform, Classes 2.0, as educational institutions increasingly adopt artificial intelligence to automate teaching, learning and administrative tasks.
The updated platform adds an AI tutor that is restricted to a student’s enrolled subjects, AI-assisted lesson planning, automated grading for computer science assignments, career guidance tools and an AI course builder capable of generating course outlines, learning outcomes and supporting material. Teachers are required to review and approve AI-generated content before it is shared with students, keeping human oversight in the learning process.
The company has also introduced tools aimed at reducing administrative work for educational institutions. Classes 2.0 now includes course outcome mapping to help colleges prepare accreditation reports required by regulatory bodies such as AICTE. The platform supports 22 Indian languages and allows institutions to enable or disable AI access based on their policies.
Zoho said the platform will remain free for central and state government educational institutions, while individual teachers can use it free for up to 100 students. Private schools, colleges and universities will be charged ₹500 per teacher per month, with additional enterprise options available for institutions seeking custom deployments or advanced capabilities. This positions Classes 2.0 as Zoho’s latest push into India’s fast-growing AI-powered EdTech and digital learning market.
