Noida, Aug 24 (APAC Media): Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy Buds4 Pro has been recognised with the EISA In-Ear Headphones 2026-2027 award for its audio performance, call quality and design, the company said.
The recognition from the Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) marks the first time a Galaxy Buds product has received an EISA award, Samsung said.
EISA’s awards are evaluated by specialist editors from technology publications across more than 25 countries.
The Galaxy Buds4 Pro features a two-way speaker system with separate amplifiers for the woofer and tweeter.
Samsung said the earbuds support 24-bit/96 kHz Ultra High Quality (UHQ) audio, aimed at delivering more detailed and high-resolution sound.
The earbuds also feature a redesigned wider woofer, which Samsung said increases the effective speaker area by nearly 20% compared with the previous generation.
For calls, the Galaxy Buds4 Pro uses a Voice Pickup Unit (VPU) and deep neural network-based noise reduction technology under Samsung’s Super Clear Call feature. The system is designed to improve voice clarity in noisy environments.
The earbuds come with Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Adaptive Equaliser technology, which adjust audio performance based on the user’s surroundings and fit.
Samsung has also introduced a blade-style design for the Galaxy Buds4 Pro. The earbuds include pinch-based controls and are rated IP57 for dust and water resistance, subject to the company’s stated conditions.
The Buds4 Pro is also integrated with Samsung’s Galaxy ecosystem and supports hands-free functions, including head gestures for selected calls and AI interactions.
The company said the EISA recognition underscores its efforts to combine high-fidelity audio, intelligent features and ergonomic design in its premium wireless audio products.
