Bengaluru: Kauvery Group of Hospitals has launched its first hospital in Bengaluru. The group has acquired a 100% stake in Ramakrishna Smart Hospital, Electronic City, Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The Memorandum of The agreement signed on the 24th August 2020, allows the Kauvery management to take over and run the hospital immediately.
The hospital, presently a 150-bed facility with OP and IP blocks, will become 300 beds with a state of the art comprehensive tertiary care multi-speciality facility within a span of 24 months.
In addition, the group is embarking on an ambitious plan of adding another 500 beds in different parts of Bengaluru in the next 3-4 years.
The group has another healthcare facility in Hosur which will add to its strength in becoming a significant player in the Bengaluru region.
The Kauvery group is focused on a major expansion plan from 1200 to a 3000-bed hospital group across South India in 3- 4 years.
