Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has increased the stature of Additional Chief Secretary Navneet Sehgal and given him additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary Information department along with the existing departments.
Avnish Kumar Awasthi has been transferred from the information department. He will continue to hold the charge of other departments including Home.
Along with this, Sanjay Prasad has been given additional charge of the Information Department along with the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister.
Additional Chief Secretary Social Welfare Department Manoj Kumar Singh has been sent to the Horticulture Department. Principal Secretary Horticulture Babu Lal Meena has been made Principal Secretary Social Welfare Department. Saroj Kumar has been made Managing Director Purvanchal Power Distribution Corporation. He was posted as special secretary in technical education department.
It is to be noted that Navneet Sehgal has held the post of Principal Secretary Information Department in Samajwadi Party regime.
