The Assam government transferred five Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. The officers are as follows:
Ravi Shankar Prasad (Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary and Fishery Departments, Agriculture Production Commissioner, Assam and CEO, MMS-CMSGUY is relieved from the additional charge of CEO, MMS CMSGUY.
B. Kalyan Chakravarthy Principal Secretary, Elementary Education, Secondary Education Departments is also posted as Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department.
Rajesh Prasad Principal Secretary, Transport, Irrigation and Soil Conservation Departments is also posted as Principal Secretary, Excise Department. He is relieved from the charge of Principal Secretary, Transport Department.
A. P. Das Joshi Principal Secretary, Environment & Forests, Revenue & DM and Excise Department is relieved from the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Excise Department.
Anant Lal Gyani Secretary, Bodoland Territorial Region is transferred and posted as Secretary, Agriculture Department and CEO, MMS-CMSGUY as additional charge.
