Patna: In a recent administrative reshuffle, the Bihar government has transferred two officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS). As per the order, IPS Vikram Sihag (2020 batch) has been transferred from the post of Rural Superintendent of Police (SP) and reassigned to the Patna Police Headquarters.
Subsequently, IPS Aparajit Lohan, also a 2020-batch IPS officer of the Bihar cadre, has been appointed the new Rural SP.Â
Prior to this appointment, Lohan served as the Traffic SP of Patna district, where he implemented several measures to improve road discipline and traffic management.
These transfers are part of the government’s ongoing efforts to ensure transparency, accountability, and efficiency in law enforcement operations across the state.
