Visakhapatnam: Indian Register of Shipping (IRS) has selected DassaultSystèmes’ 3DExperience platform to drive digital transformation and boost efficiency. projects. The platform will enable IRS, an international ship classification society that offers certification and technical inspection services to the maritime industry, to implement data-driven decision making, concept design, engineering, integrated operations, and maintenance processes.
This will significantly improve its operations management, resulting in prolonged vessel life, enhanced cost and time efficiency, and heightened safety and security within the shipping industry.
The platform will also allow IRS to create a virtual twin to enhance vessel lifecycle management, offer digital services on a unified platform, and supply end-to-end digital traceability.
