Jammu and Kashmir Govt shuffles 41 officers, including three senior IAS officers

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) government recently announced the transfer and posting of 41 officers. Three senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers along with other officers from the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) have been reassigned to various departments.

IAS officer Aijaz Ahmad Bhat (AGMUT:2013), previously serving as the Director of the Entrepreneurship Development Institute in J&K, has been reassigned as the Director of Sericulture, J&K.

IAS officer Baseer-ul-Haq Chaudhary (AGMUT:2015), who was serving in the position of Managing Director of Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited, has now been posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Ramban.

IAS officer Harvinder Singh (AGMUT:2019), who was serving as the Additional Deputy Commissioner in Jammu, has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of Doda.

Khalid Jahangir, JKAS, who has been serving as the Managing Director of J&K Trade Promotion Organisation, has been appointed the Director of the Entrepreneurship Development Institute, J&K, in addition to his current responsibilities, till further notice.
