New Delhi: The Ministry of Tribal Affairs orchestrated a dynamic Business-to-Business (B2B) meet in New Delhi amid the ongoing Aadi Mahotsav festival. The event aimed to bridge tribal artisans, producers, and industry leaders, fostering numerous business opportunities and mainstream integration. Union Minister for Tribal Affairs, Agriculture, and Farmer Welfare, Arjun Munda, was the chief guest of the event.
The B2B Meet served as a direct platform for interaction among industry leaders, startup CEOs, tribal artisans, and producers, facilitating the exploration of diverse business opportunities and their integration into mainstream markets.
Workshops and panel discussions led by experts delved into crucial aspects of entrepreneurial success, including branding strategies, packaging innovations, funding access, and market identification.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed between the Tribal Co-operative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED) and corporate giant ITC. This collaboration, operating under the Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Vikas Mission (PMJVM) scheme, aims to strengthen tribal farmers and suppliers, especially in states with significant turmeric cultivation. The initiative promises to bolster rural economies and enhance livelihoods.
