Bengaluru: Siemens Healthineers has appointed Kalavathi GV (Kala) as the Executive Director and Head of the Development Center (DC) in India. Kala will lead over 3,500 employees in India and Slovakia, focusing on developing precision healthcare solutions utilizing artificial intelligence, automation, and digital transformation.
She brings extensive experience in global digital transformation from her previous leadership roles at Philips Healthcare and GE Healthcare. She is also an advocate for increasing the representation of senior female leaders in the Indian IT ecosystem. Kala succeeds Dileep Mangsuli, who will now oversee global corporate activities in the fight against tuberculosis at Siemens Healthineers.
