Assam govt. transfers several IAS Officers, Simi Karan becomes Dy Secy, Environment & Forest Dept.

Dispur: The government of Assam has orchestrated a minor bureaucratic reshuffle under which it has transferred several IAS and Assam Civil Service (ACS) officials.

The details of the prominent transfers are as follows:

• IAS Aranyak Saikia (2020 batch) has been appointed as the Staff Officer to the Chief Secretary of Assam. He previously served as the Additional District Commissioner in Gossaigaon.
• IAS Simi Karan (2020 batch) has been transferred and posted as the Deputy Secretary in the Environment and Forest Department, Government of Assam. She was last posted as the Additional District Commissioner Bokakhat.
• IAS Ayushi Jain (2020 batch) has been given the charge of Deputy Secretary in the Finance Department. Previously, she served as the Additional District Commissioner in Nazira.
• IAS Anand Malhotra (2022 batch) has been officiated as the Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) in Sadiya and has been allowed to take charge as the ADC whenever the Sub-District becomes operational.
• IAS Kanika (2022 batch) has become the Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) in Nazira and has been allowed to officiate as the ADC when the Sub-District becomes operational.
• IAS Mridul Shivhare (2022 batch) has been given the post of Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) in Gossaigaon and has been allowed to take charge as the ADC when the Sub-District becomes operational.
• IAS Shivani Jerngal (2022 batch) has been posted as Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) in Bokakhat and will be officiated as the ADC when the Sub-District becomes official.
