New Delhi: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has signed a contract with Allied Boston Consultants India Pvt. Ltd. to implement the ISO 50001:2018 energy management standard across its network. This initiative will span all DMRC stations, depots, and offices, focusing on improving energy efficiency and sustainability.
Allied Boston Consultants will lead the development and execution of an Energy Management System (EnMS) in compliance with ISO 50001:2018. This system will ensure that DMRC optimizes its energy use and performance, in line with international energy standards.
The project is a critical step for DMRC in reducing its environmental impact while enhancing energy efficiency across its operations. By adopting these standards, DMRC aims to achieve more sustainable practices and its commitment to a greener transportation network.
