Patna: The government of Bihar has reshuffled 14 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. 11 officers from the 14 have been transferred to the General Administration Department (GAD) and are now awaiting new postings.
According to the official orders, IAS Vikram Veerkar (2019 batch), will assume the role of Muzaffarpur City Commissioner, replacing IAS Naveen Kumar (2019 batch). He was last posted as Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) of Ara.
Naveen Kumar will now take charge as the new DDC of Gaya.
The list of other notable transfers includes:
IAS Sumit Kumar (2019 batch) has been appointed as the new DDC of Bettiah. He previously served as the City Commissioner of Saran.
IAS Preeti (2019 batch), last posted as DDC in Khagaria, has become the new City Commissioner of Bhagalpur.
IAS Yatendra Kumar Pal (2019 batch) has now been named as DDC of Saran. He was last posted as the Rohtas City Commissioner.
IAS Priyanka Rani (2019 batch) has been appointed as the new DDC of Nawada.
IAS Deepak Kumar Mishra (2019 batch) has been assigned the post of Nalanda city commissioner.
IAS Shreshta Anupam (2020 batch) has become the new Muzaffarpur DDC.
