Bangalore: Manah Wellness has introduced myBuddy, an AI-based tool to help users talk about mental health. Unlike most wellbeing apps, myBuddy uses a unique database created by Manah Wellness and White Swan Foundation, steering clear of general internet information.
Dr. Ashwin Naik, Co-founder and CEO of Manah Wellness, noted that mental health challenges are often overlooked due to social stigma, leaving many without support. myBuddy aims to change that by providing a safe, non-judgmental space for users to discuss their concerns and access reliable information.
The tool answers over a thousand common mental health questions, all carefully curated by psychologists. It’s designed to help people make informed decisions and start conversations about their mental well-being. According to Co-founder and COO Ritika Arora, myBuddy can be used in various languages, making it accessible to a wide range of users.
Ideal for workplaces, myBuddy supports employees in handling everyday stress and starting their mental health journey. Manah Wellness hopes the tool will foster open conversations and provide guidance for those navigating mental health challenges.
