New Delhi: Paytm’s parent company One 97 Communications has appointed Deependra Singh Rathore as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for payments. The incumbent CTO, Manmeet Singh Dhody has been transitioned to a new role as the AI Fellow of the company.
Rathore brings more than two decades of experience in the technology sector. He joined Paytm as the General Manager of Payment Gateway Business in January 2016 and went on to become the Senior Vice President at Paytm Payments Bank in November 2020. He is currently serving as the Senior Vice President (Technology) and is responsible for driving AI-led strategic initiatives. In addition, he oversees the design and implementation of payment products and services. Rathore has been associated with Paytm and Paytm Payments Bank Limited for eight years now.
In his new role, Deependra will be responsible for strengthening Paytm’s financial services by leveraging the use of Artificial Intelligence.
