Amaravati: In a significant reshuffle, the Andhra Pradesh government has transferred 27 officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS) officers across various posts in the state. According to the official notification, IPS Rajiv Kumar Meena has been appointed as the Chairman of the State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB).

IPS N. Madhusudhana Reddy (1997 batch ) has been appointed Additional Director General of Police (Law & Order).
IPS Ch. Srikanth, IPS (2002 batch) has been made Inspector General of Police (IGP) (Operations) with an additional charge of IGP (Technical Services), He previously served as IGP (Law & Order).
IPS R. Jayalakshmi, (2006 batch) has taken charge as IGP/Director of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
IPS G. Pala Raju (2005 batch) has taken over as Director of the Forensic Science Laboratory.
IPS G. Bindu Madhav (2017 batch) has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police (SP), Kakinada.
IPS M. Deepika, IPS (2014 batch) has been transferred to the Commandant of the 2nd Bn, APSP, Kurnool, from the Commandant of the 3rd Bn, APSP.
IPS K.S.S.V. Subba Reddy (2015 batch) has become SP, Coordination (Human Rights & Legal), He was previously the SP of PTO.
IPS J. Rama Mohan Rao has been retained as SP (Intelligence).
IPS A. Ramadevi has retained his position as SP (Intelligence).
IPS Vijay Kumar, IPS (1996 batch) has been given charge as SP, East Godavari.
IPS P. V. S. S. Kumar, (2001 batch) has been appointed IGP (Law & Order).
IPS G. Ravi Kumar, IPS (2003 batch) has been posted as SP, Prakasam.
IPS M. D. S. N. Prasad (2004 batch) has taken over as SP, Chittoor.
