Bhopal: As part of a major bureaucratic reshuffle in the state, the government of Madhya Pradesh has announced the transfers of 42 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. According to the official notification issued by the General Administration Department, IAS Sibi Chakraborty M (2008 batch) has been appointed Secretary to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav while also assuming the role of Commissioner of Urban Development.
Other notable transfers include:
IAS Lalit Kumar Dahima (2008 batch), previously Secretary of the Jail Department, has been appointed as the Member of the Revenue Board in Gwalior.

IAS Avinash Lavania (2009 batch) has been made MD of the Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company, Jabalpur.
IAS Karmaveer Sharma (2010 batch), presently Khargone Collector, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner cum Director of Food Civil Supplies.
IAS Arvind Kumar Dubey (2012 batch) has been appointed Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister.

IAS Praveen Singh (2012 batch), presently the Sehore Collector, will take charge as Director of Public Health.
IAS Avdesh Sharma (2012 batch), currently Collector, Tikamgarh, has been moved and posted as Commissioner, Directorate of Technical Education, MP.
IAS Harshika Singh (2012 batch), previously Director of Skill Development, MP & Commissioner of Technical Education, has been now designated as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the State Rural Livelihood Mission, Bhopal.
IAS Anup Kumar Singh (2013 batch), presently Collector, Khandwa district, has been appointed MD of the Madhya Pradesh Western Region Power Distribution Company Limited, Indore.
