Hyderabad: T-Hub, a leading startup incubator in India, has launched the Business Incubation Management & Leadership (BIML) program under the AIC T-Hub Foundation to professionalize incubation management across the country. The program aims to train managers in building and scaling incubation centers while fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
Focus on Training and Certification
The BIML program is designed to equip incubation leaders with essential skills, covering areas such as startup management, stakeholder engagement, compliance frameworks, and financial strategies. Participants will also gain insights into national policies and industry-specific incubation processes.
Successful completion of the program awards certifications, signaling credibility for managers to lead incubation initiatives effectively. T-Hub’s network of mentors, policymakers, and corporations backs the initiative, providing practical insights and strategic support to participants.
Collaboration with Academic Institutions
The program has already partnered with 15 academic institutions across states such as Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, and Tamil Nadu. These include CVR College of Engineering, Sphoorthy Engineering College, and Vignana Bharathi Institute of Technology. The focus extends beyond academic incubators, targeting specialized sectors like edutech, sports, and technology, to build a cohesive incubation framework.
Leadership Insights
Speaking about the program, Rajesh Adla, CEO of AIC T-Hub Foundation, stated that the initiative is part of the organization’s larger mission to strengthen the incubation ecosystem. Interim CEO of T-Hub, Sujith Jagirdar, highlighted that the program addresses critical gaps in training and access to industry networks, which are vital for supporting startups across India.
The BIML program reflects T-Hub’s effort to professionalize the incubation landscape, aligning it with India’s growing startup ecosystem and the government’s emphasis on entrepreneurship and innovation.
