Bengaluru: Saviynt, a cloud-native identity and governance platform solutions company, recently hosted workshops through its Saviynt University program, training over 250 Identity and Access Management (IAM) professionals across India. The initiative, held in two key locations, equipped participants from 25 partner organizations with tools to enhance Time-to-Value (TTV) capabilities for faster deployment and improved ROI.
Amid a global cybersecurity workforce gap of 3.4 million, India faces acute challenges in retaining skilled professionals. Saviynt’s program addressed these issues by emphasizing Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and conducting hands-on TTV simulation exercises. The workshops bolstered the IAM expertise of participants, empowering them to implement Saviynt solutions effectively and ensure accelerated outcomes.
Saviynt’s Vice President of Enablement and Solutions, Suraj Krishnaiah, emphasized the organization’s focus on providing faster and smarter identity solutions. He noted that the workshops help partners implement Saviynt’s tools more efficiently, enabling customers to achieve rapid and significant returns on their investments.
General Manager of Saviynt India, Sapna Nair, highlighted the urgent need for initiatives like Saviynt University in addressing India’s cybersecurity talent shortage. She explained that the program enhances technical expertise among stakeholders, fostering a skilled workforce capable of delivering exceptional service and contributing to a safer digital environment.
The program also reflects Saviynt’s broader commitment to building a global IAM talent ecosystem. Plans are underway to expand similar training initiatives across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific, with sessions running through mid-2025. By fostering a skilled workforce, Saviynt plans to enhance digital resilience and meet the growing demand for robust identity governance worldwide.
