According to media reports, the Tata Group’s Noel Tata-led Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has tightened attendance requirements for workers as part of its Work-from-Home (WFH) policy.
The study states that changes to backend procedures, entry deadlines, and personal emergency days are necessary under the updated policy.
1. Personal emergency days: Workers are permitted to take up to six days off for personal exigencies every three months. Additionally, any personal emergency days that are not used might be carried over to the next quarter.
2. Exceptional entries: Employees may submit up to 30 exceptions in a single entry due to space restrictions.
3. Backdated WFO Entries: Up to two days before the current date, backdated WFO submissions are permitted. You have until the fifth of the next month to make any missing entries.
Further, TCS already has a five-day attendance policy in place, in contrast to other IT companies that only permit two or three days of office attendance.
