Itanagar: The Arunachal Pradesh government has inaugurated the Clean Model Village project in Pangin under the Swachhatau Sewa 2024 Campaign.
The initiative by the Arunachal Government aims to transform Pangin into a model community for eco-friendly practices, waste management and environmental protection.
The Clean Model Village project emphasises community engagement and grassroots participation in sustainable development practices.
Not only is this initiative a significant step towards environmental sustainability in the region, but it also positions Pangin as a showcase for innovative environmental solutions.
A dedicated song celebrating the Clean Model Village concept and Pangin’s cultural heritage was also released during the inauguration.
The government hopes Pangin’s transformation would inspire similar initiatives across the state, creating a network of cleaner, greener communities.
