Chandigarh: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Punjab Government has transferred three Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers across key departments. IAS Aravind Kumar M.K. (2011 batch), currently Director, Treasury & Accounts, has been given additional charge as Director General, School Education.Â
Aravind replaces IAS Girish Dayalan (2011 batch), who has been appointed as Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Punjab.
In another significant appointment, IAS Harpreet Singh Sudan (2013 batch) has been given dual responsibility as Director, Sports & Youth Services, and Director, Higher Education.Â
The reshuffle is aimed at strengthening administrative efficiency and aligning leadership with evolving governance priorities in the state.
