Raipur: In a recent IAS reshuffle, the Chhattisgarh government has transferred 10 officers. One of the notable postings includes the appointment of IAS Ravi Mittal (2016 batch) as the Joint Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat temporarily.
Mittal currently serves as the Commissioner of Public Relations and holds the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Samvad. He will continue to serve in these positions along with his new role.
Other notable appointees include
- IAS Reena Babasaheb Kangale (2003 batch), currently serving as Secretary of the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Department, has been given additional responsibilities. She will now oversee the Revenue and Disaster Management and Rehabilitation Department. Furthermore, Kangale will take charge as ex-officio Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner and Commissioner of Land Records.
- IAS Avinash Champawat, previously Secretary in the Revenue Department, has been temporarily posted as Secretary of the General Administration Department until further orders. He will also handle the additional charge of the Public Grievance Redressal Department.
- IAS Ritesh Kumar Agarwal has been appointed Managing Director, Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation.
- IAS Prabhat Malik will take charge as Joint Secretary of the Good Governance and Sustainability Department.
- IAS Jayshree Jain has been made Deputy Secretary, Environment, Forest, and Climate Change Department.
- IAS Deepak Kumar Agarwal has been appointed Secretary, Public Commission.
- IAS Padmini Bhoi has become Director, Pension and Provident Fund, and the Registrar, Firms and Societies Departments.
- IAS Hina Netam has been appointed Director of the Tribal Research and Training Institute.
- IAS Ashwani Dewangan has been made Mission Director of the State Rural Livelihood Mission and Swachh Bharat Mission.
