Bhubaneswar: In a major reshuffle, the Odisha government has transferred 18 officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS). Accordingly, Senior IPS Dr. Santosh Bala (1995 batch) has been appointed Director of the State Forensic Science Laboratory.Â

- IPS S. Praveen Kumar (2002 batch) has been posted as Inspector General (IG) of Police (Provisioning).
- IPS Gajbhiye Satish Kumar Iswardas (2002 batch) has been made IG, Special Armed Police.
- IPS Sanjay Kumar Kaushal (2003 batch) has been given charge as IG, Economic Offences Wing (EOW).
- IPS Awinash Kumar (2007 batch) has become Director, State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB).
- IPS Dr. Satyajit Naik (2008 batch) will now serve as DIG, Central Range.
- IPS Pinak Mishra (2011 batch) has been appointed DIG, Eastern Range.
- IPS Parmar Smit Parshottamdas (2013 batch) has been made Superintendent of Police (SP), Crime Branch.
- IPS Vivekanand Sharma (2014 batch) made SP, Khordha.
- IPS Prateek Singh (2014 batch) will take charge as SP, Puri.
- IPS Pratyush Diwaker (2015 batch) has become SP, Balasore.
- IPS Vinit Agrawal (2016 batch) has been posted as SP, Cuttack (Rural).
- IPS Raj Prasad (2018 batch) has been made SP, Special Branch.
- IPS Gundala Reddy Raghavendra (2019 batch) will take charge as SP, Jharsuguda.
- IPS Ankit Kumar Verma (2021 batch) has been appointed SP, Jagatsinghpur.
- IPS Amritpal Singh (2021 batch) has been appointed SP, Nuapada.
- IPS Amritpal Kaur (2021 batch) has been posted as SP, Sundargarh.
