Chandigarh: As part of a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Haryana government has transferred nine Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. According to the official notification, IAS Shyamal Misra has been appointed Principal Secretary of the Energy Department.
Misra previously served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Faridabad and Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authorities and Chief Administrator of the Trade Fair Authority, Haryana. He will continue to serve in the latter role along with his new position.

- IAS Dusmanta Kumar Behera, previously Secretary to the Governor and DG of Development & Panchayats, has been made Secretary to the Governor, Haryana, Labour Commissioner, Haryana, and Secretary, Labour Department.
- IAS Mani Ram Sharma, former Labour Commissioner and Secretary of the Home Department, has been appointed MD, Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited, and continues as Secretary, Energy Department and Secretary, Home Department.
- IAS Dr Aditya Dahiya, currently the Special Secretary of Personnel, Training and Parliamentary Affairs, has become Director, New & Renewable Energy, Haryana, and Special Secretary, New and Renewable Energy Department, in addition to his existing responsibilities.
- IAS Mahender Pal, previously Special Secretary, Industries & Commerce, and Additional Director, Mines & Geology, has been appointed Managing Director, HARTRON, and Managing Director, Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited.
- IAS Amar Deep Singh has been posted as Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Haryana.
- IAS Varsha Khangwal, previously Additional Director (Admn.), Information, Public Relations & Languages, has been assigned additional charge as Additional Secretary, Vigilance Department.
