Lucknow: As part of a minor bureaucratic reshuffle in the state, the Uttar Pradesh government has transferred two Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. Accordingly, IAS Archana Agarwal (1990 batch) has been appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Transport Department.
Additionally, she has also been given charge as the Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh State Government Transport Corporation (UPSRTC).
Simultaneously, IAS Amit Gupta (2000 batch), previously holding the additional responsibilities of Principal Secretary, UP Transport Department, and Chairman of UPSRTC, has been relieved of these duties. He will continue to hold the position of Principal Secretary, Stamps and Registration.
