Raipur: In a significant reshuffle in the state, the Chhattisgarh government has transferred seven officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS). Accordingly, IPS Ankita Sharma has been appointed Superintendent of Police (SP) of Rajnandgaon.
The list of other transfers includes
- IPS Pankaj Chandra has been appointed SP, Kondagaon.
- IPS Prafull Thakur has been made SP, Sakti district.
- IPS Ratna Singh has been made SP, Manendragarh–Chirmiri–Bharatpur district.
- IPS Mohit Garg, previously SP of Rajnandgaon, has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector General (AIG) and transferred to the Police Headquarters (PHQ) in Raipur.
- IPS Chandramohan Singh, previously SP of Manendragarh–Chirmiri–Bharatpur, has been appointed as the Director of Emergency Services (Fire Brigade and City Force).
- IPS Yaduvalli Akshay Sidar has been appointed as AIG of Police.
