Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has issued transfer orders for two IAS officers as part of routine administrative changes meant to improve governance in key districts. IAS Rajesh Kumar has been appointed as the Chief Development Officer (CDO) of Chitrakoot.
Kumar was previously serving as Additional District Magistrate in Gautam Buddh Nagar. In his new role, he will handle planning and execution of development schemes in the district. His focus will be on rural development, infrastructure work, and welfare programs.
IAS Anushka Sharma, who was awaiting a posting, has been given the role of Joint Magistrate in Pratapgarh. She will work on maintaining law and order and overseeing key administrative functions. She will also assist in carrying out government policies at the district level.
The reshuffle reflects the government’s continuing efforts to strengthen administration and improve service delivery in different regions of the state.
