Patna: In a key administrative development, the Bihar government has promoted five Indian Administrative Service officers of the 2022 batch to the rank of Joint Secretary.
The General Administration Department (GAD) issued an official notification announcing the promotions.
The officers promoted are:
IAS Parth Gupta, Sub Divisional Officer, Purnea
IAS Ashish Kumar, Sub Divisional Officer, Barh
IAS Gaurav Kumar, Sub Divisional Officer, Bagaha
IAS Kajle Vaibhav Nitin, Sub Divisional Officer, Biharsharif
IAS Nishant Sihare, Sub Divisional Officer, Motihari Sadar
The promotions aim to strengthen the state’s administrative setup and improve coordination at senior levels. The move is expected to support effective policy execution and smoother functioning across government departments.
