New Delhi: Jalaun district has secured the top position in Uttar Pradesh in the Chief Minister’s Dashboard rankings for January 2026 under the category “District Flagship – Development,” reflecting its performance across key development indicators monitored by the state government.
The district administration of Jalaun is headed by IAS Rajesh Kumar Pandey (2012 batch), who serves as the District Magistrate. The UP cadre IAS officer served as Special Secretary to the Government of U.P. A.P.C. Branch, Joint MD – UP Jal Nigam, Vice Chairman at Meerut Development Authority and Special Secretary in UP Government’s Housing & Urban Planning Department, before joining as the DM and Collector in Jalaun.

According to the government data by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, Jalaun obtained 9.64 (effective marks) out of a maximum 10.00, translating to 96.40 per cent – the highest score among all districts in the state. The data places Jalaun at the top for the month.
The dashboard, titled “Uttar Pradesh CM Dashboard – District Rank in State,” is powered by DARPAN Dashboard Services of the National Informatics Centre (NIC). This data report was generated on 10 February.
Banda and Lalitpur followed closely behind Jalaun, each scoring 9.63 (96.30 per cent) and jointly holding rank two.
Meanwhile, Farrukhabad and Bareilly secured fourth rank with 9.61 marks (96.10 per cent). Kheri, Hamirpur, Barabanki, Kannauj and Maharajganj have secured their places respectively in the top 10.
At the lower end of the list, Budaun was placed at Rank 36 with 9.08 marks (90.80 per cent). All districts were assessed against an effective maximum of 10.00 marks.
