Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) administration has reshuffled 20 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers as part of a major bureaucratic move. Accordingly, IAS Piyush Singla (2012 batch), currently the Secretary of the IT Department, has also been appointed as the Administrative Secretary of the Public Grievances Department.
The list of other appointments includes
IAS Ashwani Kumar (1992 batch), presently the Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) of the Power Development Department, has been given additional charge as Administrative Secretary, Mining Department
IAS Ashish Chandra Verma (1994 batch), currently the Financial Commissioner (ACS) of the Tourism Department has been given additional charge as the Administrative Secretary, Agriculture Production Department
IAS Shailendra Kumar (1995 batch) has been made Financial Commissioner (ACS), Finance Department.
IAS M Raju (2005 batch), currently the Commissioner/Secretary of General Administration Department has also been given charge as the Administrative Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department
IAS R Alice Vaz (2005 batch), currently Commissioner/Secretary, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department has also been posted as Administrative Secretary, Information Department
IAS Yasha Mudgal (2007 batch) has been appointed Commissioner/Secretary, Cooperatives Department.
IAS Shahid Iqbal Choudhary (2009 batch) has been made Commissioner/Secretary, Youth Services and Sports Department.
IAS Anjali Sehrawat (2013 batch) has been appointed the Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission.
IAS Nidhi Malik (2013 batch) has been made Inspector General of Registration.
IAS Owais Ahmed (2014 batch) has been posted as Director, Skill Development.
IAS Sagar D Dattatray (2014 batch) has been appointed the Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kashmir.
IAS Athar Aamir Ul Shafi Khan (2016 batch) has been made the Deputy Commissioner, Budgam.
IAS Kumar Abhishek (2016 batch) has been given charge as the Deputy Commissioner, Reasi.
IAS Akriti Sagar (2016 batch) has been made the Managing Director, National Health Mission, J&K, and also given additional charge as Special Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department.
IAS Bilal Mohiud Din Bhat (2017 batch) has been appointed the Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag.
IAS Minga Sherpa (2017 batch) has been made the Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur.
IAS Syeed Fakhrudin Hamid (2017 batch) has become Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla.
IAS Harvinder Singh (2019 batch) has been appointed the Director, Employment and given additional charges as CEO, Mission Youth and Mission Director, Mission YUVA.
IAS Shahzad Alam (2019 batch) has been appointed the Deputy Commissioner, Kulgam.
