Punjab Govt Transfers Two IAS Officers; IAS Preeti Yadav Made Special Secretary, Employment Generation, Skill Development & Training

Chandigarh: The Government of Punjab has ordered the transfer and reassignment of two Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers in a fresh administrative reshuffle. IAS Preeti Yadav (2014 batch) has been transferred from her position as Managing Director of MARKFED.

Yadav has been appointed Special Secretary, Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training, placing her in a key department focused on jobs and skill initiatives in the state.

Simultaneously, IAS Girish Dayalan has been given additional responsibilities while retaining his existing portfolios. He will continue as Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Punjab, and as Additional Managing Director of the Punjab State Cooperative Bank Ltd. He also continues with the Punjab Infrastructure Development Board, where he has now been appointed Director.

In addition, Dayalan has been assigned charge as Additional Managing Director of MARKFED, replacing Yadav. The move expands his role across the cooperative and infrastructure sectors.
