Gujarat Govt Transfers 72 IAS Officers; IAS Bhavya Verma Appointed as Ahmedabad Collector 

Gandhinagar, May 13 (APAC Media): In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Gujarat government has transferred and reassigned 72 IAS officers across the state. As per the official order, IAS Bhavya Verma (2018 batch) has been appointed as the new Collector of Ahmedabad. 

Verma previously served as the Collector of Valsad, Gujarat.

Some of the Major Appointments are:

• IAS D.N. Modi has been appointed as Development Commissioner, Gandhinagar. 
• IAS Anand Babulal Patel has been appointed as Commissioner of Schools, with additional charge as Commissioner of PM-POSHAN Yojana and Director of GCERT. 
• IAS Sujeet Kumar, previously serving as Collector of Ahmedabad, has been appointed as Special Commissioner of State Tax, Ahmedabad. 
• IAS Ajay Prakash will now serve as Managing Director of Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Ltd. (GETCO).  
• IAS Dr. Sourabh Zamsingh Pardhi, who previously served as Collector of Surat, has been appointed as Director of Civil Supplies and Ex-officio Additional Secretary. 
• IAS Kshipra Suryakantarao Agre has been appointed as Commissioner of MSME, Gandhinagar, with additional charge as Commissioner of Services.

• IAS Bhavya Verma has been appointed as the Collector of Ahmedabad.
• IAS Tejas Dilipbhai Parmar has been posted as the Collector of Surat.
• IAS Navnath Kondiba Gavhane has been designated as the Collector of Bharuch.
