New Delhi, June 2(CXO Media): Infosys has expanded its engagement with Norway-based DNB Bank to modernise the lender’s financial crime monitoring systems using artificial intelligence and cloud-based technologies.
As part of the programme, Infosys will help DNB replace multiple legacy systems with a unified platform built on NICE Actimize’s X-Sight Enterprise solution. The project will bring together customer screening, payment screening, transaction monitoring, customer due diligence and fraud monitoring functions on a single platform.
The modernisation initiative aims to improve how DNB identifies suspicious activities and manages investigations across different jurisdictions. Infosys will oversee platform integration, enterprise architecture and data migration as part of the transformation programme.
The bank is also expected to use AI-driven analytics and automation tools to improve detection accuracy, speed up investigations and streamline case management processes.
Financial institutions worldwide are increasing investments in AI-powered compliance and risk management systems as regulators demand stronger controls against money laundering, fraud and other financial crimes.
For DNB, the project represents a broader effort to modernise critical banking operations while improving its ability to respond to evolving regulatory requirements and emerging financial crime threats.
