Bengaluru, June 11 (APAC Media): As part of a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Karnataka government has assigned key roles to several IAS officers, including additional charges to multiple officers. Accordingly, IAS Dr. Mahesh M. has been appointed as the Managing Director (MD) of the Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board.
Dr. Mahesh was awaiting posting before this appointment.
Other officers assigned additional charges include
- IAS Anjum Parwez, currently the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Forest, Ecology and Environment Department, has been given additional charge of the post of ACS, Public Works Department, Bengaluru.Â
- IAS Rajender Kumar Kataria, currently ACS, Revenue Department, has been assigned a concurrent charge of ACS, Home Department.
- IAS Mohan Raj KP, presently Secretary, Housing Department, has been given additional charge as the Secretary, Social Welfare Department.
- IAS Dr. Venkatesh MV, presently Registrar for Cooperative Societies, has been given concurrent charge of Secretary, Planning, Program Monitoring, and Statistics Department.
- IAS Dr. Selvamani R., currently Commissioner for Transport and Road Safety, Bengaluru, has been assigned additional charge of MD, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), Bengaluru.Â
- IAS Khushboo G. Chowdhary, recently appointed Commissioner for Industrial Development and Director of Industries and Commerce, has been assigned multiple additional roles. She has been given additional charge as Chief Executive Officer of the Invest Karnataka Forum, Chairman and Managing Director of NGEF, and Managing Director of Mysore Lamp Works Limited, all based in Bengaluru.
