West Bengal Govt Transfers 18 IAS Officers; IAS Anoop Kumar Agrawal Made ACS, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department

Kolkata, June 11 (APAC Media): In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the West Bengal government has transferred 18 IAS officers across the state. IAS Anoop Kumar Agrawal has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary, Personnel & Administrative Reforms Department, and Additional Chief Secretary, MSME & Textiles Department. 

A 1993 batch IAS officer, Agrawal was previously posted as Divisional Commissioner, Jalpaiguri Division. 

Other Significant IAS Transfers Include: 

• IAS Dushyant Nariala (1993 batch) has been appointed as Principal Resident Commissioner, New Delhi, with additional charge of Director General, NSATI, and Chairman, SNTCSSC. 
• IAS Nandini Chakravorty (1994 batch), previously serving as Principal Coordinator of Development Works in the Chief Minister’s Office, has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary, Science & Technology and Biotechnology Department.
• IAS Ravi Inder Singh (1994 batch) has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Transport Department. 
• IAS Rajesh Pandey (1995 batch), Additional Chief Secretary, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and Textiles Department, has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary, Youth Services and Sports Department.
• IAS Rajesh Kumar Sinha (1997 batch), Principal Secretary, Housing Department, has been transferred and appointed as Principal Secretary, Irrigation & Waterways Department. 
• IAS Surendra Gupta (1997 batch) has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Land and Land Reforms and Refugee, Relief & Rehabilitation Department. 
• IAS Rajeev Kumar (1997 batch), Additional Director General, NSATI, West Bengal, has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Technical Education, Training & Skill Development Department. 
• IAS Neelam Meena (1998 batch), Chief Electoral Officer, West Bengal, has been assigned the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Environment Department.
• IAS Parwez Ahmad Siddiqui (1999 batch) has been appointed as Principal Secretary, State Gazetteers. 
• IAS Saumitra Mohan (2002 batch), serving as Secretary to the Governor of West Bengal, has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Information and Cultural Affairs Department.
• IAS Jagdish Prasad Meena (2004 batch), Secretary, Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Department, has been appointed as Secretary, Food and Supplies Department.
• IAS Randhir Kumar (2006 batch), Director of Land Records & Survey, West Bengal has now been posted as Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department with additional charge of Secretary in the Finance Department.
• IAS Moumita Godara Basu (2007 batch), Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department, has been appointed as Secretary, Women and Child Development & Social Welfare Department. 
• IAS Mukta Arya (2008 batch), Secretary in Industry, Commerce & Enterprises Department, has now been appointed as Secretary, Sundarban Affairs Department. 
• IAS Rachna Bhagat (2009 batch), Director, ICDS, has been appointed as Secretary, Labour Department. 
• IAS R. Vimala (2010 batch) has been appointed as Secretary, North Bengal Development Department. 
• IAS Raju Mishra (2015 batch), Special Secretary, Transport Department has been appointed as Excise Commissioner.
