Aizawl, June 26 (APAC Media): In a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, the Mizoram Government has transferred two senior IAS officers across the state. IAS Udit Prakash Rai, Secretary, Cooperation Department, has been assigned the additional charge of the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DP&AR).
Rai is a 2007 batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre.
He will continue to oversee the Cooperation Department along with the Disaster Management and Rehabilitation Department while holding the additional responsibility of DP&AR.
Another officer transferred is IAS K. Lalthawmmawia, who was serving as Secretary, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DP&AR), as well as the Urban Development and Poverty Alleviation Department.
A 2007 batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, Lalthawmmawia has now been appointed to head the School Education Department along with the Sports and Youth Services Department.
